Another incredible yet unappreciated action game is Beyond Good and Evil. I have no idea how it sold well enough to produce a forthcoming sequel, seeing as how I picked it up brand new from Best Buy for $20 just a few months after it debuted at $50. It's pretty much terrific from start to finish, and it actually hit all three big systems of the time (Xbox, PS2, and GameCube). And yes, I just referred to the GameCube as a "big" system.
