Marvel Comic creator Stan Lee has appeared in twelve big screen adaptations of his comics to date, but this will be the first time his likeness appears in a video game, and he seems quite excited about it.

According to Lee, his likeness is a character that is “signifigant to the games storyline”, but no further details were given.

Stan Lee said:

“I am thrilled to be making my first onscreen videogame cameo! It’s such a kick to see characters that I’ve helped create come to life in the game and now I’m a part of the Marvel videogame universe.”

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is available in North America on September 15th, 2009 on every current generation console or handheld being sold in stores.
