You heard that right: starting this week, Koei is releasing new Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires clothing options. You gotta hand it to Koei: no matter what product you buy, you can always take solace in the fact that weeks after you’re done playing, you can always come back for some solid download content.
Anyone who has this game knows how fun it is to try and fill up the 100 character limit making ridiculous looking people, like this Tuxedo Mask cosplayer above. Hit the jump for a full look at the new threads, and the complete press release.
DYNASTY WARRIORS®6 Empires Free Downloadable Content
Starting this week, KOEI will begin offering new character armor sets for the game’s Edit mode, plus additional music tracks. All DYNASTY WARRIORS 6 Empires add-on content is free-of-charge on PlayStation®Network and Xbox LIVE®.
This week’s downloadable content sets include:

New downloadable content will be available next week as well, and from that point will follow a bi-weekly schedule.
I’m really digging the king hat, and I already have another custom character in mind for it. On a side note, you could deck your male character out in that entire princess outfit and still not be as feminine as Sima Yi. Did I mention that “Additional BGM Track Pack #1″ is my jam?

Lol, you know it’s funny: when boys were little, they’d never be caught dead playing ‘dress-up’ with the girls. But now that they added the option to play dress-up in a cool, manly game, we can’t get enough of it. No hate, but it’s really funny if you think about it.
I guess dynasty warriors is still kicking!
