Just so you guys know, you can turn off the 3d ports in the video options to eliminate the port loading screens. :D

This game is addicting. The load screens are a pain in the ***, but I played for 20+ hours this weekend.

And I think the game has great replay value. I know that when I finish (or give up) on my current campaign, I am going to re-start with a completely different strategy, (going after different ports earlier, more alliances, etc.)

Mates, i spent 20+ hours on it and i am sad to say that this one is too shallow. And this --- "Four methods of campaign play, multiplayer, moddable maps and units along with future DLC scenarios guarantee countless hours of entertainment." --- is just crap. Play through it once, and i dont see a single reason to do it again.

@ Thomas

I agree wholeheartedly. The interface lets down what is otherwise a great game with a unique combat system.

The game has potential... But the interface is awful and forces the player to waste a lot of time doing micro management (for example to repair a fleet of 5 ships you need no less than 25 clicks of your mouse).. The AI is weak and the naval battles could really use time compression.

Agreed! Sim City + an RTS sounds like a solid win with the added detail.
