Remember when I cooked up a little post about Command & Conquer 4 being announced? Today EA decided to shed a little bit more light on the game by means of a new trailer.
While it doesn’t show any in-game footage or give us any new details on the game, the trailer will provide long time fans of the C&C series with head-scratching questions like, how did Kane and the GDI ever got on the same level and team up after a decade of constant war.
For the first official trailer and my opinion, hit the jump.
Personally I wasn’t blown away by this trailer. Sure it teases the whole Kane & GDI alliance, but that isn’t enough for me. Give me some overwhelming threat to humanity or at least some explosions. With StarCraft II on the horizon, EA better start ramping up its marketing if it wants C&C4 to compete. Let’s just hope that EA makes good on its promise to provide gamers with the “epic conclusion to the beloved Tiberium universe.”

Will Kane NEVER DIE! I mean seriously, this dude has been blown to dust more times then I can count, and he keeps some how coming back to life. The mane has more lives then Nostradamus.
I hope there is a joke at the end of C&C4 where it just turns out he is Rasputin…

Hey, it’s set in my home city (and the video shows it raining so it’s clearly realistic), so it’ll be cool to see a C&C futuristic take on it! I always wanted one of the Gotham series to feature Manchester, which is weird cos I can drive around it in real life! The city’s cathedral was featured in the PS3s Resistance, which was pretty cool.
