In what is becoming a running theme for video games this year, it has now been announced that yet another will be adapted into a movie. Indiana Jones die hards look away now, because Uncharted is reported to be currently in production.
Not only does this film follow hot on the heels of yesterday’s announcement of Hitman 2, it turns out that the same person, Kyle Ward, will be writing Uncharted too; now, who’s a busy boy then? That’s right: him. He’s also writing Kane & Lynch!
Website THR.com are suggesting that the Columbia movie, to be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner, will be based around the events of the first game in the series, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.
Judging by the screenshot above, it would seem a clear favorite to play Nathan Drake would be Colin Farrell – I can see a likeness there somewhere, anyway – although it is important to mention that nothing is yet confirmed. Stay tuned to Gamer Limit for the latest as this news develops.

I always thought Nathan Fillion would be a good fit for Drake. Ruggish good looks? Check. Sarcastic nature? Check.
I love this header image.
