In a rather unusual move, Ignition Entertainment announced that Muramasa: The Demon Blade would be released in the US without English voice-acting.

Ignition Business Development Director Shane Bettenhausen was quoted as saying, “…trying to dub it, trying to make something more Western is really not a service to the product…who wants some goofy anime voices in this game?”

According to a recent study performed by the Medical College of Georgia, playing video games may just be a viable option in the treatment of those suffering from Parkinson’s disease. A group of Parkinson’s patients were asked to play an hour of Wii Sports (tennis, boxing, and bowling) for 3 days a week over a 2 month period. It’s fair to say that MotorStorm was one of the main reasons that led me to buying a Playstation 3 at launch. With Call of Duty 4 reaching over eighteen million fans, it is no surprise that Activision is trying to squeeze every bit possible out of this market of hardcore shooter fans of as much cash as possible.

An MMO, or even an “online shell” would drastically change the interface for Call of Duty and perhaps even the number of players who play it. It’s a dangerous game, changing something so solid, but enough rumors are beginning to surface to bring some validity to the claim.
