Last week we mentioned that Project Natal was appearing on Jimmy Fallon Live, well tonight it premiered, check it out after the jump.

Opinions? To me the bright orange jump shout unfinished tech, but honestly that’s to be expected, they haven’t claimed it to be perfect yet.

Although in terms of press for a gaming add-on this is probably one of the best yet.

  1. To be honest, I seriously consider ALL of these Bio-mechanic/ Biometric “toys” to be spying devices that need to be *brought* into the home as toys. They just happen to be “toys” that use the *exact* technology (voice and face recognition) implemented by the DHS and FBI for security resources!

As a Business and Commodities Exchange student, I can say that modern strategies for reshaping and conditioning public behavior is conducted *NOT* through Orwellian government mandates, but through commerce and mainstream media/ public opinion.

The bad guys aren’t going to force you to do anything, they’re going to trick you into wanting to do it yourself!

  2. While User_01 adjusts his tinfoil hat…

That does look rather cool, but how long would people want to play a Wii minigame for? Burnout was pretty awesome but unless the motion control gets developed further, I can see myself showing Natal off to friends for all of 20 mins, then reaching for a pad if I wanted to “really play” on Burnout.

  3. I agree, the jumpsuits suggest there are still significant tweaks to make to the technology, but this is a delicious taster of the potential future of gaming!
