During the past year, publisher THQ has been forced to make some tough economic decisions in the face of falling revenues. These cost cutting measures appear to be paying off. In the past 2 days, THQ’s share price has risen 15% from $7.54 to $8.65.
It is estimated that THQ’s year on year sales will increase 199% from the previous year. This is undoubtedly due to the release of both UFC 2009: Undisputed and Red Faction: Guerilla.
UFC 2009: Undisputed spent 2 weeks at the top of the UK charts before being knocked off by The Sims 3.
