The connection between gamers and pop is pretty clear.  Gamers like pop.  It appears as if the ever elusive EA wishes to capitalize on this strong connection by signing a multimillion dollar deal with Dr. Pepper.

This multimillion dollar deal with see downloadable content codes for EA games on over 500 million Dr. Pepper products.  This contest will span over several EA tiles such as The Sims 3 and other titles yet to be released in 2010.

Some items available through the DLC will be one of a kind items, which will enhance game play, while others will be collectible items part of a set.
