CODWaW Bling

The folks over at Treyarch seem to have their act together. Each map pack they release for Call of Duty: World at War seems to break new records. Today Activision announced that the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 2 has broken 1 million downloads.

Originally released June 11, the $10 map pack adds three new multiplayer maps and one new Nazi Zombie map.

Personally this doesn’t surprise me at all. I feel safe in assuming that 75% of the people who bought Map Pack 2 did so only to get a new Nazi Zombie map. If you guys haven’t checked out the Nazi zombie mode, you’re missing out. Nothing like co-op and the undead to send sales through the roof.

I’m sure zombie achievements had something to do with it as well.
