Moshe Kai Cavalin, an 11 year old graduate from East Los Angeles College is an intelligent kid with big ambitions.  The hardworking prodigy may be a super human, but lacks enthusiasm towards video games because they are a waste of time.  C’mon kid, you may be intelligent, but you’re still 11.  We all know you get giddy pwning noobs at Mario Kart.

He is a master of two crafts: Astro Physics and Martial Arts.  In the mean time, you’ll find Cavalin reading up on the latest issue of Astro Physics Digest while fighting off an elite company of secret assassins.  How does a boy without an imagination feel about video games, “I feel it’s a waste of time playing video games because it’s not helping humanity in any way.

I know you’re a boy genius, but you’re also 11.

  1. He probably likes video games, but really sucks at them. So he says they are a waste of time to compensate for his lack of skill.

  2. Wow, a bleeding heart liberal at the supple young age of 11!

Pit this kid against this one: cage match style

  3. Just cause he sucks. I’ll take him on, I went to like a karate class once.

It’s a little (read: very) known fact that there are kids out there, even boys, that don’t like video games. It’s simply a matter of personal preference. What does it matter to you if a genius kid doesn’t really partake to your favorite past time?
Just because he doesn’t feel like playing video games (and would rather be more active mentally and physically), doesn’t mean that he “sucks” or “lacks imagination”. It just means he has different interests than you do.
I love video games. Always have, always will. That doesn’t mean I think that everyone should have to, though, even if they are still a kid. I say all the power to him to make whatever choices he wants, and congratulations on achieving so much at such a young age.

It’s fun to make jokes, but…

If anyone seriously said anything actually negative about this kid, it would be the exact same thing as saying “this kid is stupid because he doesn’t like sports”. To each his own.

  6. At least he’s not one of those fatty fat kids that live in the trailer park and does nothing EXCEPT play video games.

I don’t see how knowing martial arts helps humanity either, however. It’s just a different hobby. Maybe when he’s a space ninja we’ll all feel bad about how much time we spent on games and wish that we too were space ninjas. Until then, bleh!

  7. @TheGameLlama
Project NATAL will train us to become Space Ninjas with its futuristic technology.

  8. An eleven year old Asian boy that doesn’t like video games?
    BLASPHEMY!

  9. So Natal is actually just a clever ploy to train a team of superhuman boy genius space ninjas to save humanity from the Nazis and Russians? They should put that on the box, instead of, “Look! It’s Microsoft’s Wii 2.0! Give Bill Gates more money!”

I’m even more pumped for it now. And Tony Hawk’s Ride will make sure we’re space ninjas that can grind the Moon. The future’s so bright, we’re gonna have to wear shades.

  10. Good luck to the kid.

He probably has more of an imagination; one that doesn’t need games for stimulation.

Astrophysics and martial arts? He’ll probably make himself into an amazing superhero one day.

  11. avatar lol
