Yesterday another cult indie game made its way onto Steam, Blueberry Garden. Maybe it’s just my inner Indie Soul but damn Blueberry Garden looks fantastic.

Blueberry Garden! Winner of the Seumas McNally Grand Prize for ‘Best Independent Game’ at the 2009 Independent Games Festival. Also a winner for ‘Best Innovation’ at the 2008 Swedish Game Awards.

Blueberry Garden is a short and experimental game about exploring a strange world. It is set in an ever-changing ecosystem and your goal is to find out what’s going on among the softly swaying trees and mysterious creatures living there.

Blueberry Garden does appear very cult, hence sadly it probably wont sell a lot. So my suggestion is, go without your two cups of coffee ($4.99) and get it!

  1. I recently picked up the demo, and not only was I entirely confused as to what was going on, my computer can’t run it correctly. Damn, and it looks so cool, too…

The damn indie title requires a dual-core processor to run, so I’m not buying it any time soon. I was actually close to hitting the Add To Cart button, but I decided to check out the system requirements before purchasing and then tried the demo. I don’t wanna play a 2D game that’s harder to run on a single-core than The Last Remnant(demo), so I’m holding out. Or not. Doesn’t look all that special or entertaining.
