After a full decade after StarCraft‘s release, the second incarnation of the game is nearly at your fingertips. Blizzard beckons all comers with gaming quality PC’s to opt-in for the beta testing of StarCraft II. If you’ve been thirsting for fresh intergalactic RTS action for ten long years, then hit the jump to find out what you have to do.
According to Joystiq, the process is quite simple:
First, you need to log in to your battle.net account, enter the “account management” area, then go to the Beta Profile Settings page, and then select the “opt-in” status for StarCraft II.
Second, pull up your system specifications and hit the “print screen” button. After the specs have been captured as an image, upload them as directed.
Hopefully for those die hard fans who are jones’n for their new drug, entrance will be permitted. However, I fear if the beta testing is available in Korea, everyone else on the globe might be out of luck. Oh well.
