Are you one of the Wii owning faithful who sulks as the other consoles receive big Capcom titles?  Did Resident Evil 5 leave your mouth watering?  Lost Planet have you all alone with just you and your Wii?  Kazuhiko Abe, Capcom’s Chief Financial Officer has some amazing news for you waggle-oids.  Hit the jump to see what’s coming up!

Regarding Wii owners desire to lay their hands on RE5, Abe said, “We have not decided whether we are doing it or not doing it.” Despite what we were previously suggested by Capcom officials, it looks like an RE5 hasn’t been ruled out afterall.

He also said, “Up until now, after releasing our PS3 and Xbox 360 games, we have brought them to the Wii. Basically, this is the approach we are considering taking.”

So it appears that WIi ports like Dead Rising: Chop ’til you Drop and Dead Space: Extraction are previews of things to come.

Are you Wii owners excited by the concept of receiving reimagined versions of RE5, Lost Planet 2, or Dead Rising 2?

Dead Space is made by EA not capcom, so this article is an epic fail.

Haha wow: hasty! The author never said that Capcom owned the Dead Space IP. He was simply commenting on the situation as a whole when it comes to Wii ports recently being announced. He re-iterates this in the last sentence, just mentioning Capcom games.
