I honestly almost picked this game up from Amazon a few weeks ago. The enormous slew of excellent RPGs present on the DS seems to have heightened my reverence of the genre on the platform. I’m very happy that I probably blew that money in some other manner instead.

I liked the first game a lot…this one just, wow. It was really sloppily done. I guess I could have expected that, since it was co-developed by Brownie Brown, who made the HUGELY SUCCESSFUL Heroes of Mana, but I was charmed by the first game and wanted to give this one a shot. Here’s hoping that the third game – apparently, an action RPG – fares better.

Looks like they dropped the ball on what could have been a neat RTS/SRPG hybrid.
