It’s hard to deny the power of Bejeweled. Even though it’s a bit too casual for most core gamer’s tastes, you have to admit dabbling in it for a bit is inescapable. You could feed your addiction originally on the PC, then Verizon phones exclusively, and now, most of your mobile carriers should have Bejeweled Twist available. For those who haven’t played “Twist”, it’s definitely recommended if you are looking for a harder version of the original. Hit the jump for the official press release.

Popcap:
“We’re excited to launch what we believe will be the mobile game of 2009 – an amazingly accurate translation that offers truly deep and fun gameplay with tremendous visual appeal,” noted Andrew Stein, director of mobile business development at PopCap. “Bejeweled Twist is a milestone title in the mobile games category: novice players can pick it up and enjoy it immediately, while avid gamers will appreciate the depth of strategy, challenge and the overall flexibility in its gameplay.”

How often do you play games on your mobile (non-iPhone) device? The only title I’ve purchased is Diner Dash, and that’s enough to satisfy me on quick breaks.

  1. Now people are going to be playing this while driving home from work. Not because their inconsiderate, because they’re addicted.

  2. They’re gonna have to outlaw driving and playing video games now that they’ve taken care of texting.

    I want it!!!

  3. Ohhh Bejeweled… Many a boring conference call was endured with your help. Glad to see it’s still alive and kicking.
