Atlus has developed a wonderful rapport with the gaming community. The spoils system (packaging extras into games), and the large amount of community interaction have created quite the bond between the publisher and the general public. I’d even make the contention that Atlus is the modern-day Working Designs.
Their latest effort, Knights in the Nightmare, is shaping up to look as unique as advertised, and luckily, this series of videos will help you understand how to play the game if you’re completely new to the genre. Hit the jump for the video, and what exactly Atlus thinks should be added to the defintion of “tutorial”.
Atlus:
According to Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary, tutorial (n) is defined as:
1. A class conducted by a tutor for one student or a small number of students
2. A paper, book, film, or computer program that provides practical information about a specific subject
For Knights in the Nightmare, we went ahead and proposed the following third definition:
3. A series of videos that demonstrate to gamers how Knights in the Nightmare is one of the deepest, most rewarding, most satisfying genre-shattering games ever made
If you haven’t downloaded your demo off of the Wii Store, go check it out.
Knights in the Nightmare is set to release June 2nd on the Nintendo DS.
