Playing a gameshow over Xbox Live is an interesting idea, and I think Microsoft might be onto something! As the beta-testing continues before an unnanounced spring launch date, we’re being treated to more and more tidbits about how this free for Gold Subscribors game is going to integrate the achievement system.
The good news is, there will be an opportunity for a lot of achievements with this new experiment in online gaming. Microsoft’s plan for 1 vs 100 is to run the show in a thirteen week season. Each season you’ll have the opportunity to achieve up to 200 gamerscore. After the new season begins, there will be a new 200 gamerscore to go after. It looks like those who enjoy collecting achievements could end up with a lot. Will there eventually be a cap? Who knows. There is no word yet on what the achievements will be, but we’ll let you know as soon as we find out!
