MMO juggernaut World of Warcraft further increased its overwhelming momentum yesterday with the launch of the much anticipated Secrets of Ulduar patch. The patch offers a bevy of new features, not the least of which is the ability to conveniently switch talent specializations on the fly Рwhich should offer players greater versatility in their efforts to avoid real-world responsibilities.

In addition, the land mounts of Azeroth have apparently overcome their fear of water and no longer vanish when partially submerged. These changes, along with new dungeon content, various UI improvements, and a the “Argent Tournament” quest hub make The Secrets of Ulduar a hefty update to an already hefty game.

Check out Blizzard’s official Secrets of Ulduar site for the full patch notes, and trailer.

  1. The talent tree swapping is huge. Something like that is big enough for me to get back into it. Now only if there were a way to carry PVP and Tanking gear at once…

  2. So much utility gained by being able to dual-spec. No more “lf1m healer”/”lf1m tank” spamming in trade!

And for the dps classes, such as myself, I can now have a PvE and PvP spec saved so I can chop and change as I see fit. :-D
