The recreation of great historical battles in video game format is nothing new, but Konami shall be the first to tackle the War in Iraq with their third-person shooter Six Days in Fallujah. It is being developed for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the PC. This brave take on a recent war is set to release some time next year and will follow the heroic actions of a real Marine-led battle that took place only five years ago.
Atomic Games president Peter Tamte told the Wall Street Journal that they plan to “Replicate a specific and accurate time line- we mean six days literally.” They also said that they have no plans to make a social commentary, only an accurate portrayal of a real war.
Perhaps one of the most interesting things about this video game is that people who fought in these battles could potentially play this title.

Six Days in Chicken Fajita? I’m in! Num num.
Oh, I love fajitas! Steak Please.
I love them too. Either kind.
I hope they just copy the MGS4 engine, which would make this “MGS4 Act 1: With less Mechs: The Game”.
