With almost every feesible melee weapon known to man, the Soulcalibur franchise has been on every console from the days of the Dreamcast until now. For the first time, it will be available on a handheld: the Playstation Portable.
Namco Bandai Games America announced today that Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny will be released exclusively on the PlayStation Portable this summer. Broken Destiny is set to use many of the game mechanics set forth from Soulcalibur IV. It is also touting a more in depth character customization. The standard Arcade, Versus, and Survival options with a new single-player mode to ease beginners into the higher levels of play will be available. This newer, simpler mode will range from tuitorial, to more in-depth moves with more than eighty missions to complete.
