Ace Attorney, a long-running adventure game series from Japan, got its start in the United States and Europe only after the series had already seen three installments. The first game in the series made waves upon its 2005 release, selling much better than anyone could have anticipated.
In 2008, the rest of the video game world finally caught up to Japan in terms of installments released. However, for quite some time, there has been talk of a new game in Japan. While it’s set for a May release in the land of the rising sun, the rest of us haven’t heard so much as a peep about an international release. That is, until today.
Rumours have been bouncing around the internet faster than Chun Li or Spiderman with the possible return of the infamous fighter Marvel vs Capcom 2. Today these rumours were finally dealt with as Marvel.com show once and for all the game is coming home to consoles.

A recent Bethesda press release reveals that Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke is set to voice the lead role in their upcoming military game, Rogue Warrior. Rockstar is giving Max Payne fans, and those that missed out, another shot at playing the gritty slow-motion third-person shooter by releasing both Max Payne titles on Xbox Live. Each game is priced at 1200 Microsoft points ($15.00).

It wasn’t enough to be considered the game of the year by numerous outlets. It was not enough to be considered RPG of the year. The Elder Scrolls property, by Bethesda Softworks, is now going for even greater prizes as it was announced that the series will be novelized.
Now that Bethesda is getting WET, it seems that more information has come soaking through about the title by Artificial Mind & Movement. The third-person shooter will be soaking retailers in Fall of 2009, and we’ve got all the information you need to know.
Whenever rumors began to surface that Square-Enix was going to buyout Eidos, many of us had dreams of a Lara Croft RPG with dragons, and Kane and Lynch running through some sci-fi fantasy world. Those nightmares have been confirmed as false, because Square-Enix is taking a hands off approach to their acquisition of Eidos.

This week in I am, I get twitchy with Left 4 Dead‘s new survival mode, in which myself and three other players must hold out as long as possible against an endless horde of infected. Things get tricky as we’re assaulted by dozens of enemies at a time, often including multiple boss infected per wave. Sony’s exclusive super-human sandbox title inFamous has been given a release date of May 29, having had its originally planned June release brought forward - a refreshing move, bucking the trend of most other AAA titles that have ever been produced.
