
In a press release today Atlus U.S.A has unveiled their special edition version of Shim Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon. The new game in the Shin Megami Tensei series, and the sequel to SMT: Devil Summoner, promises to “Improve upon its predecessor in every way.”

Honestly? I’m shocked. Earlier in the month when Xbox Live Arcade games began to appear on Amazon for sale I never in a million years thought that Nintendo would do the same thing. I suppose in their old age, Nintendo is getting a bit soft….or perhaps wanting a piece of that Amazon pie.

If you are a fan of Japanese anime and shooting the hell out of people with gorgeously rendered giant heads, you’ll be thrilled when you see this trailer for Cave’s upcoming Xbox 360 port for side-scrolling, look-at-us-we’re-cute-girls-kicking-ass shooter DeathSmiles – probably the best name for a game in history.

Electronic Arts have today revealed that Dante’s Inferno – their eagerly anticipated and already highly contraversial action adventure title - will be released for the PSP, along with the previously announced PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Little bit upset you can’t make it to E3? Don’t have a decent net connection to stream video?
Well, worry no more, US cable gaming channel G4 has been named official broadcaster of E3.
Promising over 22hrs of live coverage, including the presentations by Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, as well as other press events, it will certainly be a turn-around on previous expos, where live coverage was limited to online streams by gaming websites.
G4 will start it’s on-air and online broadcasts from June 1st. See the full release after the jump.

Back in September of 2005 news was broken that GameArts was going to be developing an MMORPG after their hit role-playing series, Grandia. Grandia Online is being developed for the Playstation Network, and excitement is once again bubbling about for the game.

Kotaku reports in the upcoming issue of Famitsu that Capcom has finally named the main character for Dead Rising 2. His name will be echoed throughout the halls of history as he battles the “alleged” 6,000 on-screen zombies.
