Suikoden 1 had me in tears of joy and sadness.

Suikoden 2 had some delicious Cgi and left what worked well untouched, and while the antagonism was almost entirely unexplained except to assume that Leknaat is some meddling witch of fate whose concept of 'greater good' knows no compassion, the 108 Stars good ending with the two heroes was really rewarding (Though a reminder of the meeting place via dream-scene would have been a nice hint towards that 'good' ending).

Suikoden 3 - A couple hours in and I'm considering just watching a Let's Play Archive of it, to sit back and watch the wonderful story unfold without the incredible frustration of unpredictable magic, partners, and cameras.

This is a great game. One of the best rpg:s that has ever been created. You enjoy this right out from the start and feels sad when the experience is over. I wish more games were like this. Your review is not fair at all.
