Sorry guys, it’s not the remake we’ve been clamouring for since the PS3 tech demo, but it’s just as good. Alongside the Japanese release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete [FF XIII Demo Included] Square-Enix are giving us Final Fantasy VII International. This is being released for the Game Archives Service, also known as the PSOne Classics, and will be priced at 1,500 Yen.
FFVII International was the second version of Final Fantasy VII. After the game was originally released in Japan, Square made a number of changes to the game, improvements and such, before it was released in the Western Market. These changes were offered to Japanese gamers a few months later in an “International” Re-release.
The Game Archives release is Japanese Exclusive at the moment though. While you could access the Japanese PSN Store to download it you have to remember that, even though its “International”, the game is still in Japanese.
