Intense naval battles are one of the things that video games seem to get right most of the time. Whether it be an airship, or a vessel on the ocean, sinking the battleship is always an exciting victory. Perhaps Battlestations: Midway will provide the same experience?
Eidos Interactive is going to recreate the whole “battleship sunk” phenomenon with their demo for Battlestations: Midway that is hitting Xbox Live Arcade, and the PC on April the 30th. Intense naval battles? It’s there. Over 28 missions? Check. Multiplayer? Yep! Too bad the demo is only one stage, right?
I haven’t played a good battleship game since that submarine game where you dodge depth charges and try to fire off a torpedo. Good times.
Damn, and I thought this post was going to be a flash game where you sink the Midway logo. I think I might give the demo a go.
