Flash games nowadays are a dime a dozen. With sites like Newgrounds, Armour Games and Miniclip, you’re sure to find hundreds of them. But it takes a real artist to make a game worth playing to the end. Trust me when I say that there aren’t as many of these; this gem is called Oozing Forever by Pixelante Game Studios, and I enjoyed every moment of it.

Long story short, you are a spiky little ball covered in slime, abandoned in a research facility you must bounce and roll your way to freedom. Collecting more ooze increases your mass, jump and bounce, allowing you to escape faster. Whilst you play through you have to avoid the light and rush from shadow to shadow, lest you evaporate.

You control your character using only the mouse, as he will move in whatever direction your pointer is in. Click in any direction for a jump, and hold it down for a higher one. There are 16 levels for you to complete before you’re done, with a nifty level select if you get stuck. Throughout the game you will encounter many enemies… mostly robots, but defeat them you must! Don’t fret, you can super charge yourself with electricity to defeat them instantaneously.

Here are some tips for playing:

1. You jump recharges faster while you are grounded, so bounce instead of clicking in the air repeatedly.
2. Use the power of physics, slam yourself to earth for a higher bounce, this will also recharge your jump.
3. You can level skip by pausing, however this resets your score to 0.

If you happen to have a Newgrounds account play it there, as the site allows for achievements on your profile. Get them all and gloat to the other users; gloat until you are hated!
