Liverpool based Bizarre Creations, widely known for their titles such as Geometry Wars, The Club and the Project Gotham series have recently talked about their new racer, Blur, in the French gaming magazine Joypad. Hit the jump to find out more about the game.
Leaving their previous formula for a racing game behind, Blur seems set to follow on in the carnage set down before it by games such as Burnout and Wipeout. The game will see cars crumpling, mines, shields and electrocution. The studio has a string of successful games under their belt, which leaves me quite excited to hear more revelations about this game.

I’ve loved Bizarre’s racers since I got my sticky mits on Metropolis Street Racer for the Dreamcast. If they pull it off and give it as much depth as the Project Gotham series it could be something very exciting!
What a versatile library of games they put out. I’m impressed when developers can churn out games of all genres and still succeed. Awesome!
Though I have to admit I’m sad that they are not concentrating on another Gotham, I guess it’s time for them to develop some new IP.
