There's been titles in the series and none have offered truly different mechanics other than "day and night" cycle and the like. I love Katamari (no pun intended), but I could go for a new "King of Cosmos family" (his cousin perhaps), and maybe something like "Katamari Universe", where you have to roll on different planets. In other news, let's look out for the rumored DSi title that is supposed to be an original game. Haha so true David.
