There is only reason I’m purchasing this (in my opinion) complete and utter waste of money, and that is because my DS phat model is breaking apart. There’s nothing of the DSi I want, but it’s just barely acceptable over a mechanically broken one…

I honestly enjoy the DS-i new design. When I was little, I used to travel a lot and only had my little Gameboy to keep me company as long as I kept it charged. The DS is becoming more and more useful not only carrying some top knotch games but language aids and digital cook books. Even though people may not be pleased with it swaying away from the games, isn’t that what phones did? I mean, I don’t see many people complaining about how now phones can be walking computers/televisions.
