gamerlimitdeadspace 160x200 Dead Space: Extraction finds writerAward-winning British writer, Antony Johnston, most known for his Oni Press published post-apocalyptic series Wasteland and work of the comic form of Dead Space has just announced that he will be scripting the new game for the Wii, Dead Space: Extraction.

Unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, the details are few but from his blog he had this to say:

  • I’ve seen the game, and it looks incredible for the Wii;
  • The voice cast is great, including a couple of names you’ll recognise;
  • The story is strong, with a big emphasis on character;
  • I think the on-rails-haters will be pleasantly surprised at how much gameplay variety has been packed in.

That’s all I can say for now, but there’ll be plenty more closer to release.

    there are no “on-rails-haters”

    there are “crappy, failing game company haters” Specifically crappy, failing game companies that dumb down all their wii games and turn a survival horror series into a rubbish rail shooter from eurocom to save time/money/effort
