Two images depicting a winged archer were recently posted on the forums at NeoGAF, a gaming community site. The poster claims the character renders of Pit are from an ex-Factor 5 employee, the company currently developing the latest installment in the Kid Icarus series for the Nintendo Wii. The user sharing the images also claims that they are about a year old, so that they may have been pulled from a “pitch only” version of the game.
The source seems kinda sketchy to me. Anybody prefer this more realistic looking Pit over the version from Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Do you think these images really put the ‘ick’ in “Icarus?” (Sorry)

To be honest, I loved Adult Link better than Young Link. If they make a Kid Icarus game in the style of Ocarina of Time, and have Icarus age, and earn his wings (!); oooooooh man. They could even have Daedalus and have an awesome character-driven story!
I think the character looks a little overdone, but it is a neat idea. I think I would prefer an Icarus somewhere in the middle.
It would be sweet if they released a new Kid Icarus game, but the adult model does kind of defeat the purpose of it being “KID” Icarus doesn’t it?
