quakeliveAnnounced in ’07 as Quake Zero, Quake Live launched a couple months ago as a private beta.  Quake live is a free browser based version of the classic Quake tournament FPS, and of obvious interest to anyone with a computer and a thirst for a solid multiplayer FPS.  Only for PC users now, it is rumored to be available in the future for Linux and Mac users.

Fallout 3 DLC Screenshots

Earlier today Bethesda Studios released a few screen shots of their upcoming Fallout 3 DLC named ‘The Pitt’, which is due to arrive soon after the announcement of a short delay.  The Pitt takes places in Pittsburgh and offers over 3 hours of gameplay in a new environment. Read more… »

I’m sure you all remember the Skate 2 “unlock” download content. For $5, you could unlock every secret item in the game. Nothing new was added for the unlock, it’s just for people who don’t feel like beating the game. Well, this just showed up on the download content circuit this week: Burnout Paradise Time Savers Pack ($4.99) “Pressed for time? Love the cars? Want to have them all NOW? The Wii seems like the perfect console for light gun shooters, one of its main functions is the IR sensor, but, with the exception of Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles, we have not had a well produced game to test this out. House of the Dead fans should also be wondering if this game is truly worthy of the House of the Dead name. It has long been synonymous with light gun games, so does this Wii exclusive version live up?
