I'll have to throw my two cents in here too. Twilight Princess upon retrospect was pretty disappointing considering the lineage of where the series has come from. Being a follow up in any form to Ocarina of Time would have to be a developer's nightmare, but I think the formula that made OoT so incredible is starting to wear thin. Ocarina's design was a product of its time, introducing Z-targeting as something that completely changed the way people thought about combat in 3D space. What does Twilight Princess do to push this ahead in any way? The only thing I can think of that Twilight Princess did better than OoT was probably horseback combat and travel. Otherwise, I was really disappointed in the lack of life on Hyrule Field, no towns people, no carriages, nothing. And don't even get me started on ANY of the wolf passages of the game. What makes a Zelda game, truly? Exploration and equipment. It could be argued that the Wolf fetch quests are exploration, but they soon turn into a drag rather than an interesting change of pace and taking away the player's ability to use equipment in a zelda game just screams "No" to me.

But then again, thats just an opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I like change, it's just that I've played the best version of this game and it came out over ten years ago.

@MueShen

I think the gaming majority would pick Mario Galaxy. Everyone I've talked to praises and loves Mario Galaxy, but gives a collective "enh" for Twilight Princess. I guess because people think Galaxy surpassed 64, and don't believe Twilight surpassed Ocarina.

Slightly better, but not an easy choice. Remember they are both very different games.

Do you really think this is worse then Mario Galaxy?
If you were asked to decide between the two, would galaxy be an easy choice?
