If you’ve never heard of Bubble Bobble, go google it. Created by Fukio Mitsuji, this lovable game follows the adventures of two dinosaurs named Bub and Bob, as they blow bubbles to smite their foes. The original was hailed for it’s classic arcade gameplay, co-op, and 100 level longevity. Wiiware is getting a remake, complete with all original 100 levels and an additional 300. Clocking in at 400 total levels, this remake is a must buy for all retro fans. The graphics will be improved for the remake, and will be a 4 player affair as opposed to the original’s 2 player limit. There have been quite a few sequels and spinoffs of Bubble Bobble on almost every system imaginable. Most gamers know the title Bust-A-Move (Puzzle Bobble), which led to one of the most popular puzzle clones ever: Snood.
