Announced by Hollywood Reporter earlier today is that the Tomb Movie franchise will be getting a reboot (much like the game series), and Angelina Jolie will not be returning for the new movie.
The new project, however, is expected to revamp the character and her mission and bear little resemblance to the original pictures. It will reimagine the origins of the character, her love interest and the main villain.
I guess the question that should be asked now is who should star as Lara Croft in the new movie, well the staff of Gamer Limit have picked out their personal favorites.

I think either Karima or Alba could do a good job at the role. I don’t know, Hurley, Connely or Mitra just don’t seem like they would fit the role well.
Out of all of those, Connelly is the most talented actress. I think she could pull it off, and ultimately, I just want a good movie this time. Get a good villain, big budget and it’s set.

I THINK THEY ALL SUCK. NO ONE DESERVES TO PLAY LARA AS MUCH AS ANGIE. These girls are nothing in comparison and will probably do a crappy job owning up to the other movies. Like the others, I’ll go to see this movie too, but probably leave the theater disappointed.
