If you haven’t played the epic game Portal by Valve, you are a shell of your former self for not doing so. In fact if you haven’t even heard of it, why are you still reading this?

Even if you haven’t,  something simply amazing (and that is an understatement) was released onto the world of the internet recently.

A Real life portal gun.

Now obviously this doesn’t shoot portals that you can walk through for easy travel, but it sure looks nice. Being a large portal fan myself I quickly changed into a new pair of pants after seeing the photos.

From what I could find from the sources, a guys girlfriend likes to cosplay, likes portal, so he made her a realistic portal gun to help cosplay as chell. I’d switch my sexuality for someone that nice.

A portal gun my boyfriend made for my Aperture Science Test Subject costume.

It lights up both blue and orange along the tube, in the barrel, and in the “indicator light” on top. The light switch is a two-way toggle in the back by the handle. It’s 22″ long including the prongs and weighs about 15 lbs.

That said it’s honestly a fantastic job and you have to love that craftsmanship even if you aren’t a fan.
