
2008 was quite the year for Xbox Live gaming, the year started on a high note with Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 being released in the last quarter of 2007, then picked up more momentum with the releases of GTAIV, Call of Duty: World at War and Gears of War 2. There isn’t any real surprises in either list, although in case you were wondering about Castle Crashers being at the top of the XBLA game list, when the online functionality wasn’t usable for most of the year it’s because XBLA titles are ranked by sales and not by online connectivity.
Also on a personal note I do kinda wish N+ ranked a bit higher in the sales.
