Len Wiseman in a recent interview with Bloody Disgusting released a few interesting tidbits relating to the Gears of War Movie he is directing.
“It’s going to be much more [on the] science fiction side of it than the creature side of it. I’ve always been much more of a sci-fi action fan than a horror fan…”
“The hope is that were wanting to do a three movies and really cover the bases on everything. Basically a harder edged Lord Of The Rings.”
It all sounds very interesting and should make for an awesome series, although who should play the roles of Marcus, Dom, Cole and Baird? The title image is random guess of who could be a good Marcus Fenix
The first Gears of War movie is planned to be released in 2010, with Len Wiseman of Underworld fame directing and Chris Morgan (Wanted, Tokyo Drift) doing the script work.
