An interesting tidbit just got dropped on the official Playstation 3 Blog, and this is probably the best announcement of 2009 so far, Dylan Cuthbert president of Q-Games (the creators of the PixelJunk series) said at the end of his latest blog post the following remark…

Here’s to an amazing 2009 for gaming as I am sure it is going to be, what with two or three more PixelJunk titles coming out, right!?

So what does mean? Exactly what it says hopefully, although releasing three games might be a bit too hopeful especially if they are considering making their future games 3D and porting them to the PSP, two games should be very viable though.

Definitely something to look forward to if you are a Pixeljunk fan.
